i ran accross these rods on ebay. their website details make the rods sound really good and i've only been able to find all the models on ebay and a few on Amazon. i got an 80-130 model and a 100-130lb 'venom" model rod, both for less than $250. they have one rated something like 160-200 and claim to be a Marlin rod.
when i get them im going to put the Makaira on them and burn some drag with the truck and stress them. see how they hold up.
oh yeah, they also make big lever drag reels.
