Thanks to some ignorant people who have been vandalizing the park after it closes, leaving tarpon scales and trash all over the beach, and fishing without night passes. You can no longer use your individual night pass, and pay the additional two dollars per guest. They now require the family pass if you have anyone else with you which is twice the amount per year. They also said the sheriff's will be establishing a patrol to stop the trespassing. Next step is closing it down at sunset like all the other parks. It's stuff like this that gives us all a bad name, and costs us our fishing spots.

i hate people. even if they close the park at night people will still go out there with out a pass.

Here's the state parks annual entrance fees and regs, which according to the employees they will no longer be honoring the $2.00 extra per person entrance fee.

Dave it would be good if it did keep the garbage out, as of now though I bought a $60 pass a month ago which apparently now was for nothing, because I can only use it not my family. We're starting to get a bad rap up there as a sport, and club unfortunately.
That sucks and of course they can do no upgrade on your pass for the extra money?
Im gonna try but if it's like any other state entity in Florida I doubt it.
