King fish
■Color ranges from black iridescent to bluish green with silvery sides
■The body is streamlined with a tapered head
■No black pigment present on the front of the first dorsal fin
■The lateral line starts high and drops sharply below the second dorsal fin
■Young fish often have yellowish spots, similar to the Spanish mackerel
macks
■Color of back green, shading to silver on sides with golden yellow irregular spots found above and below the lateral line
■Front of dorsal fin is black
■Lateral line curves gently to base of tail

so... this is a king... righ????
Man it's not worth keeping them anyways.
FWC gave me a hard time over the weekend,
so I put everything back I got.
FWC was waiting by my car when I left LWP.
The guy was nice be he was looking for em.

In my 13+ years of fishing i have never encountered an FWC officer...

That's by far King Fish..! Notice the drop on the line? That's what makes it a juvenile king fish.
