Give me a call if you want to head down there. My buddy went this weekend and had a blast.Lots of hook ups,and one landed. They hooked on to a freight train that spooled them for thirty mins and they couldnt stop em on a 80w.They also had 4 more hook ups that broke off and one 6 ft nurse landed.I am going there on friday about 5pm the 19 and staying over till saturday night. So i hope i can stop the big sharks..

I was there this weekend as well and the sharks were definitely chewing, I hooked up on every bait I put out, usually within 10 minutes. I landed a big nurse and a 5-6 ft blacktip, but hooked up to several beasts that I couldn't slow down on my 9/0 with the locked down drag. I should have put the 14/0 out but I only had small baits and didn't think any big sharks would eat them. I had all my hits on fresh eels, frozen bluefish and frozen jacks.

My buddy Lui's friend was there this past weekend and between two people caught 52 yellow jacks ,two 18 inch muttons,a 5 lb mangrove snapper, and some grouper. The fishing is hot hopefully it will last a long time.
