I just packed up the motorcycle and realized that I'm not bringing a car with me. There's nowhere for me to run to if a storm rolls in. So I packed a tarp figuring I can wait it out under some shelter next to the rods.
Should I be worried about lightning strikes? I packed 2-12 foot surf casters to fish with and that can't be good when it comes to lightning. Any thoughts?

I have a nice rain jacket that keeps me warm and dry even in nasty weather, but i dont play with lightning, not worth it IMO
