Metal frame vs plastic frame? I think most of us know the answer on that.

Took Apart Both Reels With Help Of Penn Diagrams On Line,No.8 5 Totally Different Only Thing Made With Metal Are The Gears, Everything Else Is Hard Plastic Or Grafite, Jigmaster All Chrome Hpoing The Problem With The Reel Lock Is The Little Coil Pin That Engages The Lock, Other Than That They Just Dont Make Them Like They Use To :x :x

The New Ones I Wouldnt, But The One I Have That Was Built Back In The 50's Sure. As A Matter Of Fact When You Look For Jigmasters On Penn Diagrams Its Listed As Penn Jigmaster 500-A. Mine's Is A Original Penn Jigmaster No. 500 ;)
