Cant fish blacktip challenge

So this year I was gonna fish the blacktip challenge with some people I know. I started reading the rules and noticed that if your under the age of 18 you have to have a parent at the agler meeting. Im 17 and will be 18 on March 1st. My dad owns 3 businesses and works way to much, my mom is a vice president for a very large financial company. I personally work about 50 hours a week at my family's pawn and gun store. I know theres no way I could get either of my parents to that meeting especially since we live on the west coast near St. Pete So I emailed josh and asked him if there was anything I could do so I would be able to fish this year. Josh was very nice and replied to all my emails. But the end result is that I will not be fishing blacktip challenge. I just wish there was a way I could do it. If anyone knows of a way I could fish please inform me it would be greatly appreciated. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk

My recommendation is to hold off, save your money and go all out in the Big Hammer Challenge. By then you will be 18 and be free to do what you want. Plus the tournament is one all across the state so you can fish the whole tournament then. There are some real monsters caught in the BHC.
