Hey guys last weekend my team caught a 2.17m (7ft 2inch) shovelnose ray/guitarfish. The head width was atleast a whole arms length. We looked up how big they grow, and everything we have read say they only grow to 5.5ft-6ft. We are yet to find a photo or report of a bigger one, so I was just wondering has anyone else seen or caught one this size or bigger? We are currently making a video of the trip which also included a 7ft 4 hammerhead. Video should be on YouTube on Friday afternoon ill post a report and link when the video goes up! How did it fight? The one we have in CA fight really well for there size.
