$85 YAK!

Been searching craigslist and came across a guy with two mainstream jazz kayaks. Wanted $100 each. They had holes worn in the bank end from being drug with the front up and only the back bottom end dragging. I told him $85 and i would come get one that night. Well he agreed and i took the 3 hour round trip and now have a kayak. Used some HDPE plastic to repair the hole for free. So now i have a sit on top kayak for $85 plus the $50 gas. My mom payed for the gas lol. So would you pay $85 for it? And any info on the yak would be great, he said he used them to deploy bait like i plan to. I tried it on the lake and it was stable, didnt track well but i dont really care for that as its my first kayak and i have no experiences to compare to the tracking. I mainly would like some info as to how well it will work, will take pics tomorrow.

shorter kayaks dont track as straight as long ones do. also i fell they arent as stable either but if they are narrow they maybe be less stable to. what model did you get?

My bait yak is an old fiberglass white water kayak. Talk about not tracking, that's the biggest pain in the ass. Also it is so old the fibers are coming off, so if you brush it with your arm your going to have a bad day.

Nice find though, sounds like a good deal to me.
