Went up there today around 11am
It had calmed down a bit and the water was clear.
Had my wife,kids,her dad,brother and his wife.
They are in town for 1 more day so they wanted to hook
up on something big before they left.
Another family was up there and they had a cast net.
The kids got some nice mullet after we tracked em down.
We split them and The fishing was on.
Flipped a mullet in at dead slack tide low as a joke really
on the 4 0 I was suppose to be watching the 4 kids with my wife.
So I sneak fished 
My mullet came close to the rocks quick and then...
Something was on and It was big...
I let her brothers wife feel the power of this fish.
She held the line tight and faught the fish like a pro!
she get's it close 5-10 yards away from the rocks near "the crack."
So I had to take over because those rocks cut 50lb mono like butter.
I just pumped the fish to the surface and
I get it up in the rocks. It was a monster jack 
46inches 39lbs.

That may be a beast, but nothing compared to some of the MONSTERS that I've seen from there that have dumped reels and made a fool out of all of us.
Just an average fisherman.
He put up a great fight, but on a 4 0 with 50lb mono.
We had him under control.
I know there are some 50-60 pounders in there.
I saw one behind this one before he hit my mullet.
