Heres a couple pics from the last 2 weeks. no more cobia but some good bait. the cuda was a good and exciting. it ate a bonita in half while i was trying to un tangle the bonita from the anchor roap, a close call, enough to piss me off so i left the bobo in the water and lured the cuda close to the boat and sunk the gaff deep behinde the cudas gill. it took the gaff fast and went crazy running back and forth under the boat. I managed to get my hands on the gaff as it passed by and slung the cuda in the cooler and stood on the lid. it put 2 holes on the inside of my cooler but was a caught fish. along with the cuda we got 4 red snaper and 2 keeper ajs. The next week we caught 3 snapper 2 rudder jacks 2 keeper ajs 4 jack crevell. To get 2 keeper ajs ya got catch 10. they are rough on a good bait well. My bait freezer is looken good.

Nice day of fishing there Ernie.Fishing in the Keys once I had a cuda come up to grab a yellowtail ,,,,i free gaffed it and in the explosion of water and blood that followed i was left with the gaff's rubber handle in my hands .My crew and I were safe but the gaff and the cuda took off never to be seen again,that cuda was probably close to 40 lbs.
