Saw this on Ebay
You are bidding on a brand new unused Penn 16/0 Senator 118 Reel. Only ships to U.S. and only Paypal accepted.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Penn-16-0-Senator-R ... 2564b4230b

Current Bid: $1000 with about 4 days to go.

I want a 16/0 but being new do not know a good price on one. IS THIS A GOOD DEAL? I am sure the price will go up in the next few days but how high is too high. Please help. Thanks for your input.

2 and 1/2 days to go...Still $1000...still looking for input as to if this is a good deal. Also I was looking at a Penn 130VSX which also runs about $1000. Anybody comparison?

The 130vsx has A lever for drag so more strength and torce but less line.....In english its A good buy.But A 16/0 new is rare and if you like penn senators, thats A once in A life time buy.... 8-)

There is a super old school 9/0 everol on ebay right now..........If you are going with a senator then go with a 16/0 in my opinion. I had 14/0s and a 16/0 and the 16/0 just seemed more balanced on a rod and I felt it was easier to handle than a 14/0. Plus the line capacity can be key to landing that once in a lifetime fish.
