Oh I torqued the frame haha but I was just saying I could.. Well I found decent deals on everols and duels used just was conflicted between the two. I think I'm just gonna go with a senator though
I've owned or at least fished everything you ask about. The 80-130 is a great beach rod especially when cut down (I know many are happy with 8-9'.) The unlimited is THE rod for big fish off bridges/piers (the normal 80-130 becomes a noodle under the strain of anything you REALLY want to catch..) The everols are probably the ideal beach reel: the preset on other leverdrags has always been a problem when dropping baits far. Now my .02.. Aside from that I did enjoy fishing my duel 12w but when it comes down to it you can grab multiple big senators on nice beach/pier rods (it's nice to have a few of different lengths.. I would highly recommend a 14 on an 8.5 80-130, and a 14 or 16 on a 10 unlimited) and still have $ for good terminal tackle, a kayak, and all those extra purchases we forget about..
moral of the story: I've you've got the cash, and all your other bases covered, grab an 18 on a 10' unlimited, make a trip to the keys and fear no fish
