The butt on the rod I originally had built for my 14/0 was real nice but way too long for fighting fish with a harness. Evidence:

My rod builder agreed with me on this, look at the evidence, I mean.... So, being the great guy he is he made it right, gratis!! He embedded a stingray barb I gave him for the project and some shark teeth he got from who knows where. I got the finished product today w/ my original #6 Varmac attached. I am very pleased.

That's nice, similar to some rods done by TimmyT with shark teeth wrapped into the blank design
