NEW SHARK RIG!

I go to Ocean City a lot in the summer and catch a lot of sandtigers from the beach. As you might know they primarily cruise along the bottom looking for food. I have caught many and they are fun but I'm looking to catch some hammerheads and tigers. So, does anyone know any rigs to keep the bait up off the bottom and in the middle of the water column to keep it hopefully away from the sandtigers. Any descriptions or pictures will be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

If you yak baits and if you have an idea of the water depth, you can try a balloon on a break-away rig. Just have to gauge the depth. The brick will be on the bottom. From it, so many feet of break-away line to the bait. The rest of the leader is held up by the balloon on the surface. Boat traffic also would have to be taken into consideration. I've done this before and it works very well if you have a good idea on the depth that you are fishing as well as the water column you desire to fish.
