My new (used) 14/0 everol arrives or.........
I received the rod saturday and its a nice 80lb custom igfa removable butt all aftco big foot roller rod that I will likely sell to a buddy who is starting his fishing year. So, I waited impatiently on sunday and monday (no mail on monday) and tuesday comes around. I am like a little kid waiting on christmas, I see the mail man as I am leaving the neighborhood doing some errands for my grandfather. I get a phone call....."your reel box is here and its.....................................empty!" WTF, so I race home and see that the box is damaged and has been retaped. USPS theft and the guy who shipped the reel from ebay had no insurance
. Going through the claims part now and should get my money back. Guess I will be buying an 18/0 2spd in the near future and we shall see the true line capacity and how much drag it can hold.

I've did so many online transactions, that i even got to the point to teach sellers what NOT to do.
If this was a scam, the only one who's gonna lose here is PayPal.
In the background what happens, PayPal does a refund, but IF the seller transferred the money and cashed out, his/her bank won't authorize a "call back" transaction due to insufficient funds, so what paypal will end up doing is to make his/her account in negative with the money own, BUT you'll gonna get your money back - ANYWAY. So realistically, who's really loosing? "Nobody" (i say this because, if people open PayPal account with no SSN attached - heh - any transaction allowed by PayPal - has NO CREDIT HISTORY CONSEQUENCES ON SELLERS SIDE, since they CAN NOT REPORT A SELLER WITH NO SSN IN USA - NICE????
- YEAH- SUCKS! ), since PayPal gets money back from insurance companies, where insurance companies gets paid by PayPal anyway (although they NEED TO KEEP A LOW RISK RATIO ) - so, there you have it... this is what's called online business.
P.S. The only way how "merchant" and "banks" make money is strictly based on people's stupidity of NOT KNOWING ANY MATH WHAT SO EVER.
Yeah Boghy I am more irritated with the fact I didnt get the reel. I got the reel fully spooled with 130 diamond and the custom rod for less than 600$ shipped. So, to me it was a deal! Aww well, just take a little time and I will have my money back.
