Just pulled the trigger on 600 yards of 130lb JB hollow core to respool my 9/0 senator I was wonderin what you guys would recommend for a mono topshot. I've heard good things about momoi diamond mono and bullbuster has a great price and I cant find anyone who says anything bad about it at all. I was considering 80lb for the extra yardage, but keep thinking 100lb. My minds overwhelmed with options so hopefully ya'lls experience can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I agree with Chris on this one High Seas is good stuff. I landed a big shark not too long ago that rubbed a reef for about 5 mins on my main line before he turned directions. I was using 150lb and it hardly got frayed even w/ 50lbs of drag on it. Go with 100lb or 130lb for a 9/0.
Thanks for the speedy responses I'm assumin your using the regular mono and not the copolymer? I'll probably scour the internet for the best deal, but off hand do you guys have a preferred distributor that you regularly support?
I have a 270 yard (1/2 pound) spool of Tight Lines (Bass Pro brand) 100 lb test mono I'll give you for free. It will fill up a 9/0 quick! 100 yards will take up 1/4 of your spool.

I'm never going to use it. When I first got my 9/0 reels, I tried spooling them all different ways. I didn't like how 100 pound mono laid on the spool so I took it right off, it's never even seen water. But as a top shot, it should be great!
