I think I have a harnell 552 but not sure how do I identify it?
The 552 had a blank that was black with red and yellow wrap. 10ft was the length and the valuable ones were made in Venice Ca. Harnell should be visible. Hope this helps
My rod is only 9 foot, was told it was a harnell when I got it lol can it still be a harnell it fits a 12/0 perfect. Either way I love the rod just trying to identify it
Look for a sticker if it has a butt wrap, cut it off if you really car to know. The wall thickness is a clear give away along with the parabolic bow. If it has a closed tip it is ass cut, the tip of a 552 is a size 18, the tip of a 553 is a 24 the 553 is a 10 monster aswell.
