Same blank After I redid the rod
Testing 80-130 dead lifting no harness. I stopped at 60lbs in this picture because the way the line was tied to the blank was causing an irregular bend in the blank.

80-130 Solid Glass. After you get through a "break in" phase with a solid glass they loosen up and feel so much better. Although HEAVY abuse will shorten the life span of a fiberglass rod. I'd like to think between tug of war, testing on my excursion and lifting jiant fish I have abused this blank more than most so I'm interested to see how it lasts.

Batson RCKJB508-600 5'8" 80-130lb throwing about 60lbs of drag to her. I always thought one of these vertical jigging blanks would be sick on the beach so I built one. It felt AWESOME in the harness compared to my short solid glass blanks. Hopefully we can get a fish on this rod this week and see how it feels on the beach.
All rod bends are from Blacktips
