Best Rod Bend
Haha, that's crazy drag. Imagine having the line snapped at that drag pressure? I would not wanna be behind that rod.
Boghy we actually played a little game of tug of war, Alex and his 80w vrs Me and my T-rex we hooked swivel to swivel and whom ever swivel crossed the line in the sand wins
Alex had both hands holding his spool plus full lock down on the Avet 80w as he stated pulling me, I was in shock because I had my T-rex locked down... I had to also add pressure to my spool with my hand on my spool. I knew as soon as I did that there was no way his 130 Bull buster would hold and POW! the line snapped and we both took flight a good distance backwards to our ass
I had told Alex to keep the rod and line just to one side of his face, so when something did break we would not be in to much danger. Also I made sure we adjusted our harness to keep the rod bend to a safe angle... you can see from the picture how the rod is straightened out, we did that on purpose to keep the rods in safe zone and also did that so when something broke it would not explode right in the face.
Right before the line let go there is no doubt we had near 150lbs of pressure on our gear. Freaking crazy and that was in stand up gear. It was fun and his swivel ended up on my side of the line so I win LOL

And that's why I don't fish with 150lbs of pressure; somethings gonna give and a lot of the time it wont be that big fish.
Just an average fisherman.
