Competing in the 2015 are some of the best land-based shark fishermen anywhere on the planet and we are proud to host this tournament on our site. IF YOU SAY YOU ARE A LAND-BASED SHARK FISHERMEN but are afraid to challenge yourself, or can't stand the pressure of competition then this may not be for you. You don't want to fish the BHC or you can't for whatever reason ;that's fine ,but we are tired of fishermen who want to be recognized but make every excuse to not defend our sport ,our right to fish for sharks. We at the SFSC are in this for life and we need people willing to stand with us ,defend the sport and fight for this and other land-based shark tournaments that are under scrutiny .Others talk smack on facebook and they want to be recognized shark fishermen but have no intention of defending the sport they say they love but are constantly bashing other fishermen and down talking the sport. The way we look at it-- is that if you are strong enough to fight a shark you should be strong enough to defend it in some POSITIVE WAY. Some are scared people who have you chosen the path of comfort while the real tough ass sharkers fight on in life ,in everyday problems and fight on to represent a sport well worth supporting ??,, WILL YOU BE A REAL SHARK FISHERMEN OR a POSER TRYING TO BECOME ONE ??DO YOU WITHER AWAY in the face of tough circumstances?? Now!! is the time to prove that you will fight for land-based shark fishing and the fishermen that represent the sport and that are willing to compete. Whether you fish the BHC or not, now is the time to support your fellow anglers who choose to fish .This the Tournament that honors the History of the sport and the GREAT LAND-BASED SHARK HUNTERS of the past.The Big Hammer Challenge is not for those that wither away and run from obstacles !!
