Hammer and the Phenoms Angler JD Hammer 8 ft 2 in Bull and 5 ft 6 in Blacktip

shark 1

5ft 6inch blacktip shark

shark 2

8ft 2in bull shark

shark 3

the 16/0 got hit during the bull fight and they set hook on the shark but missed and got back to landing the bull shark. after everything hammer checked the 16/0, it was stuck but it felt like he had bait, he left it. it got hit hard, missed the shark, and reeled in this.

Just an average fisherman.

Will,
Nico's shark was on a 4/0 - 50lb and the weekly standing has it down as a 6/0.

This year's BHC tourney since day one has been plagued with poor picture taking and poor compliance OF REQUIRED PICTURE RULES by anglers fishing the tournament. The pictures down below illustrate the what we WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LONGER as pictures in this tournament. As i have stated before PLEASE TAKE MULTIPLE PICS and then Post ONLY THE BEST ONES.Believe me i Know how difficult it is to take the correct pictures when short handed but some tips to improve should be considered.

1)Take pics with a digital camera not a cel phone.
2)Take multiple pics.
3)Use a WIDE measuring tape.NOT A NARROW ONE.
4)Mark the tape at every foot mark.
5)Make sure the tape faces the person taking the pictures so the FOOT markings are seen in the pic.
6)Make sure the COMPLETE SHARK is in the picture
7)Dont forget to take both REQUIRED PICTURES
8)Make sure the ANGLERS FACE is in the picture

IN THIS PICTURE THE TAPE USED IS TOO NARROW AND THE SHARKS HEAD IS PARTIALLY UNDER WATER

IN THIS PICTURE THE MEASURING TAPE IS HELD BEYOND THE SHARKS HEAD AND IT'S A GRAINY CAMERA PHONE PICTURE

IN THIS PICTURE THE MEASURING TAPE IS NOT MARKED AT EACH FOOT MARK AND THE SHARK IS CUT OFF AT THE SNOUT AND THE TAIL

THIS PICTURE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ,,IT IS GRAINY TAKEN TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE SUBJECT ,THE ONE FOOT MARKINGS CANNOT BE CLEARLY SEEN AND WHERE THE TAIL HITS THE TAPE CANNOT BE SEEN.PICTURES NEED TO BE TAKEN WITH A DIGITAL DEVICE THAT TAKES HALFWAY DECENT PICTURES.DISQUALIFIED

IN THIS PIC THE ANGLER'S FACE IS NOT SEEN IN THE PICTURE .THE COMPLETE SHARK IS NOT IN THE PICTURE AND THE TAPE IS NOT SEEN FROM 'SNOUT TO TAIL'

IN THIS PICTURE AGAIN THE THE SUBJECT IS TOO FAR FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER ,THE TAPE MEASURE IS NOT MARKED AT EVERY FOOT MARK AND WE CANNOT DISTINGUISH THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE SHARK

GREAT PIC BUT WE NEED THE MEASURING TAPE IN EACH PICTURE OF A SHARK TO BE SUBMITTED . WE NEED TO VERIFY THAT EACH SHARK MEETS THE MINIMUM 5 FOOT REQUIREMENT SPECIALLY WHEN FISHING FOR BLACKTIPS FOR NUMBERS TOTAL TEAM NUMBERS WE WANT TO DISTINGUISH ONE SHARK FROM THE NEXT AND MERE INCHES OFTEN SEPARATE ONE TIPPER FROM THE NEXT

THE TAPE MEASURE NEEDS TO BE VISIBLE FROM 'SNOUT TO TAIL IN THIS INSTANCE THE SNOUT HAS BEEN CUT OFF

THE TAPE MEASURE WITH THE MARKS AT EVERY FOOT MARK SHOULD FACE THE PHOTOGRAPHER
