YEAH BUDDY. NICE ONE BRO!

Team Shark Fever's William Fundora,Ryan Black and Jonathan Polsino joined forces for one night with Team Hammer N the Phenom's Shannon Bustamante and nearby was Team Lake Worth Sharkers and Team Short Bus Camp.On this night the wind blew strong and the surf had a slight chop so expectations of a MONSTER were high as previous similar conditions have produced blistering runs by incredibly large freight train like sharks often lost not frequently landed.The night was a bit of a disappointment with only one shark landed out of three runs among the three Teams.Shannon landed the only shark of the night a 7 ft 9 inch bull shark and by 3 am all teams we were off the beach.

Team Breakpoint on the board with a super fat nurse by angler Michael Shanker
We neglected to measure it since it was a nurse well over 5ft... but we understand if it does not count since we didn't measure. From now on we will measure all sharks even the dreaded nurse curse.
Blacktips have been ravaging our baits with little to show for it.... hopefully we'll be back soon with some nice fish.
Ok so we had one of the strangest shark trips of my life we get some great bait get baits in the water just before dark at a good beach. Then it start break my glasses in half then break my chair then fall over in my broken chair. Then we here a women screaming bloody murder from up by our truck we run up there and knowone is there this happens 3 tmes then we go to reel or baits in we had 2 ful cow rays and big fish bait out all three bait are double hooked with the back hooks threaded throughwe rel in 3 sets of empty hooks ? I don't know how it happened but it did not a single click from anyreel?

Fished with Team mate Jonathan Polsino at Florida keys bridges where the Tarpon and the big Hammerhead sharks abound this time of the year and witnessed seasoned shark fishermen/close friends on othr Teams with fresh local baits have a banner night catching Bull Sharks back to back(and they lost a few also),a large Jewfish probably 300 lbs ,a lost hammer close to 11 foot and a nurse shark all caught in a matter of 2 to 3 hours of the outgoing tide.This was the type of night that Legends are made of in our sport,,this was the type of night that drives us back on the bridges even when tired,sleep deprived,exhausted, and forgetting some deadline or other important date marked on the our calendar on the fridge weeks ago or maybe months ago.It is these nights that will make the hardcore harder.Unload all the gear including heavy coolers and shark rods at one spot and when the tide changes load up the truck again and repeat at another bridge at 3am as the fine rain begins to dampens our clothes and is a warning of a much wetter miserable night still to come as our energy begins to fade and sleep is welcomed.
Fishing hard and pushing forward after such a tragedy in my life, requires more fight to go forward and to move past hard situations it is no easier now that my heart is broken but with my Spirit somehow intact I seek the light of God for strength, inspiration and reason to continue 'the Good Fight'.
This 7 ft 1 inch lemon shark down below that I caught does not count, because it does not have the anglers face or requred tail pic but it does illustrate the degree of difficulty involved in trying to take pics in the rain,with only two anglers present,,,,,almost impossible from the Keys bridges that border seawalls instead of sandy beaches.
“For he is the living God
and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
his dominion will never end.
He rescues and he saves;
he performs signs and wonders
in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
from the power of the lions.”
