Not a bad first check in for Team True Blue! Joey Polk reeled in a 9' 3" Mako to close out Saturday night! This chore took him a little over an hour and a half of pretty solid reeling!
Joey was on the reel, Earnie Polk on the tail rope, and me as the leader-man and photographer. He measured in at 9' 3".

Some for real competition this year. Congrats big Kenny. Nice hammer to start it up. Ray, that's a bigun too. It's nice to see everyone catching good fish early on. We all have to fish hard so we don't have a three year in a row winner. Nothing against the hammer wranglers but I sure hope someone else wins it this year!!
