SECOND WEEK LEADER BOARD AND TEAM TOTALS CATCH GRAPH

I want to congratulate all the fishermen who are putting forth so much effort to catch the biggest shark possible and it shows-there hard work has been paying off.I am proud to say we have more teams (29 vs 19 teams three years ago)competing in the 2011 BHC and have seen anglers smash several tournament records in this years Big Hammer Challenge. We have for the first time out of state teams traveling to the sunshine state to be a part of this tournament and to them I say "Thank You" for believing in what we do and in this tournament. This year we have finally seen the west coast of Florida represented like never before by some great land-based shark fishing Teams putting huge sharks on the sand.We are very proud of the respect shown by all competitors fishing the 2011 BHC and we hope to see more teams catching Monster sized sharks for the last half of this tournament. The prizes for this years BHC will be the best ever we have two big gold capped tiger shark teeth being made and also a beautiful mako shark pendent which will be part of the prizes. We will have more top notch prizes and better trophies then ever in this tourneys history.Good luck to all and PLEASE BE SAFE.

We really wanted to get her back in the water as soon as possible. She was so heavy. What is the easiest way to get a girth measurement?

Way to go guys . This is the best year for shark fishing Ive ever seen. I think the reason is that everyone is fishing harder this year then any turny ive been in . The fishermen are better prepaired and better skilled and have a lot more know how. To everone keep the pressure on, don't burn out, put out. Their have been more sportsmenship and friendship than ever before and thats is what its all about. Tight lines and good luck the rest of the way.

I'm still waiting for that monster shark over 14' long. Two weeks left - plenty of time to catch it.

Took a while to find pics that weren't blurred, but we got them.

Fight

Last picture I have before the water

New Shots
Full Lengths, our foot marks stopped at 10', but you can see the small marks that came with tape

Tail Shot, blurry, but you can see the red 12' mark and kinda tell inches from there
