Nice sharks guys .The west coast or the keys bridges are the only two places that can be fished with these high winds and rough surf.

you guys have fun on the bridges and the west coast, the hardcore guys will be on the beach....sunday we did not fish because there was to much i have been neglecting to do,but today i got 3, 2 tips that were 5ft7" and a fatty 6ft3",also a very healty lemon at 8ft8"..the waves were big!! but we dont have any bridges up here so if it takes me 10 trys to get a bait out i will at least try..all it takes is one bait for one big fish.. good luck guys

Hey fellas,

Team Apex went out last weekend to the Boca grande to check it out. We ended up with 4 nurse sharks, 3 of which count for the tournament ( the fourth was caught by our friend sherman who is not registered for the tournament).

This one was caught by mike on 80lb class. it was 90 inches.

This one was caught by me. 91.5 inches

Another one caught by mike. 97 inches.

This is shermans nurse which does not count for the tourney. Nice shark none the less and congratulations to sherman for catching his first shark!.

The tourney has been great so far.

Finally laided down just enough to get a couple baits out. The low tide that is in the evening right now is rediculously low but we managed to get one decent shark to the sand.

nice fish chris i know you had to work for that fish!! that surf was rough!! we managed to get 2 baits out and got 2 fish,a black tip caught by steven that was just short of 6ft ...and of course melissa came threw with a fatty bull shark..it aint no triple header but its a good one at 8ft3"..shes on a roll..she just needs one more stripped one for a slam..and will, that time of the year is hear,i recall a certian team puting up a nice 11 footer last years tourny..oh ya its the pic on the forum page..thanks for that.theres 2 more days left boys...it aint over yet.. but great job every one!!
