Is this the END of the Big Hammer Challenge ??

I am not one to give up easily ,I am an A type personality and would much rather fight to save something I created and make it better. If I were to have any thoughts of doing the BHC again I would have to have help or it would not happen again. The tournament would be run by a group as is done in the Sharkathon or it would not happen. First off we would need someone to design that year's BHC t shirts which is typically the first step. Then go through the process of reviewing the proofs of the design until one is approved.Once approved the T shirt company has to be paid to start the printing, then paid the balance upon completion--this would have to be a collective process not PAID out of my pocket like has happened every year that iv'e held this tournament.Ads in the fishing magazines 2 or 3 months prior to Tournament start date would draw in more competitors from all 4 states ,BUT cost plenty-It is a Team effort by those willing to foot the bill initially would be nice. This has to be run like corporation for it to work .Investors would become EQUAL PARTNERS of each years event and profits would have to be divided or donated to charity-this can be discussed and voted on.Another cost and one of the first things that need to be done is the design of the posters and Team Registration forms which have to be printed a month or more before the start date of the tourney. Dates for Angler Meetings need to be determined and announced .Below are some of the job descriptions we fulfill and would need help with ,i hope y'all are starting to get the idea what it takes to make the BHC happen.Any person that would volunteer to do these things would have to do them with real dedication --not half ass or without any real desire;this takes work and lots of it. I will continue to write the job descriptions in the future.

Will, as someone with absolutely no personal ties to anyone (I have ever even met someone from this site in person) I would like to add my two cents. I have followed this forum for I believe about two years now. In that time I have read and seen some amazing things that just don't happen anywhere else in the world. I have learned tons from all. I have always had positive experiences with Will. He had been kind and even helped me set up my profile picture without me even having to ask.
I can't say much about the Facebook arguments because I didn't see any of that. But what I did see we're the beginning disqualifications. I remember one individual (don't remember his account name) but he was either disqualified or inquiring about a disqualification. The question at hand was stretching the sharks tail. He made the point that a photo EXACTLY like you said was not ok was used as a sample photo for the CORRECT way of measuring sharks. I also agreed that it was a blunder to hand an identical picture as an example of what was expected then you saying they would be disqualified.
THAT BEING SAID I never knew you did the tournament entiryly by yourself. There will be mistakes. You will over look things. A photo may accidently be left where it was supposed to be deleted. What I'm saying is especially for one person working on a tournament of this scale mistakes happen.
I love seeing the tournament and hope to one day be able to fish it. I hope people rise up and help keep BHC going in the future.
