Some say preparation is the key to success - This is my Count down.
Sun. Night - Oiled all roller guides, performed TLC on rods and met with rod builder for some upgrades.
Mon. Night. - Spooled 3000 yards of line and tied about 30 knots. Placed an order for hooks.
Tue. Night - Organize shark bags and retire worn out leaders and hooks
Wed. Night - Sharpen all hooks and make all my leaders followed by taking some Advil.
Thur Night - Pick up upgraded rods, attach reels, prep line for leaders and attend the BHC Anglers Meeting
FRI Night - Land a monster shark with my team, Getcha Gertcha Sharkon, and take the lead from the get-go.

Wednesday & Thursday spend the day gathering up bait. Friday- Put St. Pete/Tampa on the map for the BHC!
Monday- Watched Chris tie the same knot 5 times until it was perfect
Tuesday- Already skipped out of class to get food/camping gear for the BHC
Wednesday- Think about which one of the massive baits will be used for Thursday?
Thursday- School all day, then angler's meeting, then go home to pack up, then hit the beach at 12:01am to hook King-Kong day one
retied all topshots, check line for any frayed parts,make leaders.. gonna get bait with BIG REELS!!
catching baits this week already got 3 big cudas and 4 big aj's good thing i bought that 4 ft frezzer

Unfortunately, I wont be able to fish Florida until mid May, but just reading about this has me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what kind of sharks you guys will be putting on the sand. Making leaders, sharpening hooks, getting bait...Just hearing you guys talk about your pre-tournament routines is getting me excited about this tournament. Good luck to everyone.
