I like don't like to boast because life has too many up and down phases but the Big Hammer Challenge is now the Premier land-based shark tournament in the entire world and I challenge anyone to show us a better one ,,,,anywhere!!!

Some new Teams will threaten to take the Top Dog spot from the "Champions of the Past" ,some will continue to be a Force to reckon with, while some old Teams of year's past drop out of site or fall off the map.This year we are anticipating a total of close to 20 TEAMS fishing throughout the state,surpassing 2009's 16 teams. If your TEAM is fishing the 2010 BIG HAMMER chime in and give us your Team Name.Once we have spoken to you and have your Team Name we will move your Team status from probable to confirmed.We need to hear from Cody,Trevor,Dave Murray,Norman Bateman,Keith Knecht, and all others that think they might be fishing the 2010 Big Hammer for Team Names.If you don't allready have a team together we can help connect you with other shark fisherman in your area-just give Will a call or send him a PM and he will give you the usernames/names to get in touch with.
The biggest shark ever caught in Florida in a land-based shark fishing tournament Mellissa Showman and Mark Davidson with there 13 foot Tiger in the 2008 Shorebound Tourney.

looks like some good competition, man we should just wing it and fish it, who cares if we don't have that much time all it takes is that big bite.
All it takes is one bite,one fish and in your area Nick that can happen on any given night.Look at Pete he had a total of only two tippers caught and then BAM!!!!he catches the biggest bull shark ever caught in any of the modern day land-based shark tournaments a 9ft 2 inch beast-he ends up with 3 fish total but the winning fish.If i lived in Palm Beach ,Jensen or Ft Pierce i would fish this tournament with full confidence of being in the top 3 finishers year after year.
This year will be a toss up in my opinion between Jensen ,Palm Beach and the Panhandle,,,,but Boca Grande also holds some monster sharks that the west coast shark hunters on this site actively pursue most of which frequent the pass in May.

It's only March 3rd, but seeing all of the team names already makes me excited to compete in the WORLD'S BEST LANDBASED SHARK TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
