went out to a favorite spot, and had many runs while i was there. however i wasnt able to stop the sharks nor bring them in. everytime i put out a pin fish on my penn 8000 i would get smoked! this happened to me way too many times visit after visit. thats when i new it was time to bring out the 9/0 and well it produced for me 
i sure love this reel and thanks to Travis for the nice rod 
caught on 80lb mono line and most importantly safely released back into the warm gulf waters. measured at 6 foot on the dot. all in all i realized the more time and dedication u put into this wonderful sport the better results u get, so keep at it and my MONSTER will come some day

Hey Keith! Well actually no jumps from the shark but she sure did pull some drag off the old school 9/0. Also I used a pup shark for bait. I had a feeling that day the pup shark was going to get hit, I had the bait in the water for about 3hrs. Also CONGRATS on your CATCH as well!!
