solo bridge fishing, tarpon and lemon.
i started off my solo trip saturday around 6:30. about 30 min after i got to the bridge i was hooked up with this nice tarpon, it put up a realy nice fight. then i fished a bit more until the tide changed, and then balloned out a cuda head that soaked almost the whole outgoing tide with no hits. next day i get to the bridge a little later and after about 15 min i hook up to another tarpon around the same size, got it straight up and down after a nice fight, then i broke it off and away it swam. then awhile later i try balloning out a bait and i just couldent get the bait out thear. the current was veary slow that night and the wind was making it even harder. so i finnaly packed up and found another bridge to fish, some guys farther down the bridge got hooked up to a nice blacktip, then i get hit and hooked up to a nice lemon witch came right up to the surface and started thrashing like crazy out near the power poles. it ate a big bonnet head. double header, and we walked both sharks down the bridge at the same time. i probably wouldent have theas great pics if it wearnt for them, they made it posible.
hope you guys like the report!
nice lemon man. A little after you left we used half that cuda on my avet and i caught a nice bull and another tarpon. ill post a report soon, how was the current at the other bridge you were fishing at?
good job man, ill be looking for your post. it was still slow, but after the tide changed it picked up some. and by the next morning it was moving realy good.
