REPORT
The fishing was summer doldrums slow the first night as we fished too far away from the inlet but on the second night BAMM!! IT WAS ON .This was a wonderful chance to create new friendships ,put faces to the names,and an all around good way to spend a couple of days among friends and family on the beach.Jeremiah caught a 74 inch male Silky shark which is an unusual catch from the beach but up around here you never know what will be on the end of your line.The kids got a wonderful opputunity to see a loggerhead turtle laying her eggs so this trip was a learning expierience for them and a magical look at sea life perpetuating.The look on there faces was priceless. We did not have a chance to fish for sharks at the Sebastian Inlet jetty on an outgoing tide but our Sebastian friend (Mike Moreno)got spooled last week on an Avet 50 using a live 12 lb jack crevalle.On the second day I had to leave early as my dad is back in ICU but the rest of the guys fished till midnight and caught two sharks out of 4 runs. Thanks Julio ,Jordan,Chris,Dave,Jeremiah,Art ,Mike Moreno,Mike Welch,Patrick(bigmofo) and Ron Geraci for the memories.

Had a great time although this was an exploratory summer trip to this area we had some good times and learned some valuble lessons.Watch out for the turtle patrol they can be very ornery about the slightest use of lights.

That water looks so placid, nice. Sometimes I think it's rougher in the panhandle than on the east coast.

Shorebound sharkfishing - amazing in every aspect, the friendship, the scenery, rowing the baits out in the spooky middle of the night, the clakclakclakclak wake up alarm!
Seriously, had a great time, at least 6-7 huge turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs.
Great to meet Jeremiah, Dave (snookhunter) -this guy is hard core, Rich and great to fish with Will, Julio and my new buddy - Jordan (Julio's 11 y/o shark hunter son)
Hey guys it was nice to go with Will and the rest of the shark club members on this trip.Saw for the first time in my life up close a sea turtle lay her eggs.That was sweet, too bad the shark fishing was off the first day.I hope we can do it again soon.Glad to have met Art,Chris(snook hunter),and Dave sorry if i forgot some one .My son had a blast with every one and said he can't wait to go again so let us know when the next trpi will be. 
To everyone who made the trip,I had a great time meeting,talking and fishing with everyone.Always nice to put faces with site names and real names and meet new people.Plus fish new areas.I can,t wait until my next trip over.....Dave
