went to the keys a few days ago with mark and jd hammer. we had a great fun trip out there. it had been awhile since I have been out on the bridges and it was great getting back out there. when we first got out there hammer and mark loaded up on some fresh bait for bottom fishing and the bite was on like crazy, lost a lot of fish on bottom though but still managed to land a few fish. just a little later right as it was getting dark mark hooked a big shark that he fought for a while but it got him on one of the lobster traps out there unfortunately. then a little while later I hook up to a shark thinking its not that big but then he decided other wise and showed his real strength, it turned out to be a big bull 8ft 4in long. then the tide changed so we tried to get some sleep. next morning we put out more baits but no pickups. but hammer and mark caught some nice jacks. and then we headed back home, hope you guys enjoy the report!
