WENT TO LONG KEY AGAIN WITH JIMMY DEAN.WE WERE TOLD A BIG HAMMER WAS THIEIR IN THE MORNING ON INCOMMING TIDE BUT WE HAD NO BAIT. WE STARTED FISHING AND I CAUGHT THE FRIST CUDA,JIMMY CAUGHT TWO MORE RIGHT AFTER.THE ACTION WAS STARTING IT WAS ON FIRE. THE TIDE SWITCH TO OUT GOING. JIMMY SENT ME TO THE STORE WE WERE GETTING HUNGRY.WHEN I GOT THEIR I GOT A CALL. HE TOLD ME HE JUST LOST A HAMMER AND TO GET BACK TO THE BRIDGE. I HAULED BACK AND WAS TOLD THE HAMMER WAS GONE.WE PUT OUT MORE BAIT ON THE 12/O S. JIMMY GETS PICKED UP AND THE FIGHT WAS ON. A BIG BULL HOOKED ON A TRAP. WE GOT IT IN AND IT WAS 7FT 3 INCH. HE PUT OUT ANOTHER BAIT AND HOOKED UP AGAIN. THIS TIME IT WAS A 7FT 7INCH LEMMON. HE P[UT OUT A JELLOW JACK AND GETS HIT AGAIN.BY THIS TIME WAE GETTING SICK AND WANTED TO GO HOME SICK. HE CAUGHT A HUGE JEWFISH ABOUT 7FT. HERE ARE THE PICS.

Gosh dang!!!!!! That's one of the best reports ever!!! Jimmy Dean is a fishing machine. Good to see him slaying the fish and sharks. That Bull has a massive head! Huge Cudas too and a big Lemon. Awesome Jewfish too. Awesome trip guys!!! No place like the Keys!!!

Just an average fisherman.
DAMMMNNNN LONG KEY IS ON FIRE and just in time for the Rene Memorial .Loved the the pics of Jimmy with the Goliath and next to the bull.When you have all the years under your belt such a s JD Hammer does you get to a spot without any bait and you start with one rod and a tube lure,catch a cuda ,catch a shark,catch a Goliath grouper .To catch the edible species you start with a small spinning rod with a sabiki rig ,catch herring pilchard or even a pinfish then work your way up the food chain and end up with some chunky mangrove snappers .No substitute for expierienceand time on the water.Way to go guys ,thanks.

Quality report! good to see some big fish coming from the bridges. I will be heading down there during the first week of April, and its good to know that people are down there catching some big ones!!
