BOYZ SKOOL NIGHT

We headed out Saturday Evening to the keys, First we stopped at Jacks for bait to do some snapper fishing while we waited for the tide to change, I did not bring any snapper rods with me at this time so I bought a CUBAN YOYO to do some snapper fishing, My wife was upset cause I did not bring her a spinning rod so I said: you can use the yoyo instead Hahaha!!!. Luckily Stephen had hooks and sinkers. We arrived at the bridge at around 11:00pm and the current was going out so I set up the yoyo for Isa and let her use it, Not 20mins had passed when she yell's I HAVE SOMETHING she pulls the line up and to our amazement she catches a 17" mangrove snapper, Stephen could not believe his eye's he said: With a F&$@%&*g yoyo I'm laughing and I say to him you don't need a rod & reel to catch a snapper.


So at around 1:00am the tide changes and we deploy our shark rods, first I put out the avet followed by Stephen with his tiagra then finally Isa's 12/0 goes out, We continue to do some more snapper fishing but no luck, Right around 3:00am my avet goes off but nothing then about 10mins later Stephen see's the 12/0 rod bounce but tells me the drag is a little hard I pick up the rod and loosen the drag at the same time it starts to scream then Stephen yell's to me hey that's Isa's rod so I handed it to her she tightens the drag and sets the hook, The fight is on.

The Shark goes left we run to the right then the shark runs right we run to the left all this to avoid the poles, she then starts walking it down to land it from shore my reel goes off and I must go back for my reel only to discover its tangled with her line so I head back towards the shore when I arrive Stephen with the help from Rene (Julie's cousin) had the shark ready for some pic's.

In the transaction my wife looses a shoe but she's able to land her biggest Lemon yet, I'm so happy for her. Special Thanks to Stephen, Julie, Rene, and my Wife the Shark and Snapper Queen for another fishing adventure .
