Have only made 4 trips since that tiger..going to try for a bigger one this year! If you ever get over here again give me a shout and we'll put some baits out.

Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS, the kind of action everybody looks & waits & hopes for , great report, wondering; if they were that "hot" could you have nailed some casting plugs big enough to interest them , I'd bet YES,
We had luck with huge 1-1/2oz Rat-L-Traps red/white
Anyway beautiful Sharks , & pics Congratulations,

When I get all moved back for good to W.coast FLA , just tell me where this was .....SO WE DON'T SWIM THERE!!!!!!!

hell ya dude every winter it seems the sandbar sharks come in dangerously close, one night we went out we didnt even bother to kayak out baits we just tossed hand sized chunks of rays like 5 to ten feet out.

this one was caught by casting out like 10 feet, cast out 5 minutes later it would get nailed
this winter we landed sooo many sandies it was crazy i also hooked a hammer :D

You'd be perfectly fine swimming there or anywhere there are sandbar sharks..That was the night I had to swim 50-70 yards off the beach to get the yak after the high tide washed it out during the action :D

WOW! You got some Cojones Brother;
Everything in the Sea comes in sooner or later, & I think everyone would be surprized at what & how CLOSE it does come in.
And don't fool yourself just because you don't see them ,
I've snorkeled out baits a long way ,but stopped when we started catching ,

We also have caught big Nurse sharks right in close on lobbed out stingray wing, right where we swam 20 minutes before,
I think [and could be wrong] that with those sharks being as hot as they were & that many, you were rolling the dice going out there among them;
thier reaction to being curious is to bite, "test" ,

GOOD LUCK & Tight Lines Brother!!
