i had a great week fishing last week. took 5 days off from work and it didnt disappoint. we caught the goliath at big carlos pass 49" x 42" around 100#. and the hammer the next night on ft myers beach 7ft exactly. we landed all the lemons on sanibel wednesday night. 5 8", 6 4" and 7 8".
also we think the hammer is a scallloped hammer, if anyone thinks its not can u please explain why. i have had a few people say its a great hammer. enjoy

That is my guess now as well after reading the link you sent me the other day. Scalloped HH can be browny colored as well. It was a fun catch and I hope we can catch a bigger one. I feel sorry for the Lemmon that I am sitting on. Next time we need a bigger shark. lol.
Too bad about losing that big fish the other night.
CONGRATULATIONS on a good week of sharking.Good to see hammers caught from that area.
ps...it's a greater hammerhead and the first and most significant sign is the sickle shaped dorsal fin.Scalloped has a rounded tip dorsal and the head is more round whereas the Greater is almost straight
