While looking back at some of the newsletters from other shark clubs we used to correspond with back in the 1980's i ran across a monthly feature that they used which we are going to incorporate into this site. Every month the shark club member catching the biggest shark ,the most extraordinary catch,or most sharks will be featured in =THE SHARKER OF THE MONTH

If you have signed up for your club membership and catch a large shark please be sure to provide us with the pictures of your catch so we can present it on this thread. We will interview and profile the angler and share there insight into each exciting catch each month.

JANUARY'S WINNER
Aaron Bunch 8 ft 2 inch Sand Tiger shark caught at Sebastian Inlet

FEBRUARY'S WINNER
James Fuqua 8 foot 3 inch Bull shark Islamorada Florida

JANUARY, 2009 SHARKER OF THE MONTH IS AARON BUNCH.

Aaron is one of the youngest members of the club. And at the prime age of 17 has already put up some impressive catches that includes a 8 ft sand tiger. Aaron has fished most of his life, but started to get into sharking 3 years ago. Being brought into the club by a friend of his family JD(Hammer). Aarons first catch was a 5'6" black tip that he caught on his 4/0. The most unforgettable catch that stands out in his mind would be his 8 ft sand tiger. When Aaron isn't sharking he's also is a custom rod builder.

Some other questions that SFSC asked Aaron were,

-What is your goto bait? Ray

-How much time do you spend sharking a week? 3 Days

-What is your go to rod? 14/0

-Favorite places to go sharking? Bridges

-What would be your dream catch? Big hammer

-If you could go any where in the world for sharking where would go? Bahamas

Lets all put our hands together for all his hard work and dedication!!! :D

JD-A big Hammer or Tiger over 700 pounds.
