Rene fished on his instincts. He knew that April in the keys meant big sharks but on this particular trip trip he sensed that a big bull was in the works. He fished Bahia Honda bridge with his wife to be Diana and a friend and was able in one night to catch two huge bulls the bigger which weighed 480 lbs.He fought that shark for 3 hours in the trecherously strong current that flows under Bahia Honda,,,at one point the shark went under on him when they were almost at the end of the bridge and he climbed down the bridge manuvered the line to the other side of the bridge and got his big bull 480 lbs and the other one went 420 lbs. These two big bull sharks caught at Bahia Honda bridge are the two longest caught by any SFSC member.
