Hey guys I fish Anclote Pier quite a bit as its 5 mins from my house. Well last year in October (I believe) I ballooned out a whole mullet butterflied on my 6/0 everol (stacked 80lb braid and mono topshot), and this beast smashed it while still floating out. This is the largest shark I have caught where I have had to cast my pole out 
. I didnt get any pictures as I was too much in the moment trying to move this shark without a tail rope.
Anyways last night I was fishing Anclote pier and a guy crabbing started talking to his buddies about this huge bullshark from late last year and he had some pics on his Iphone. So, i told him I was the "kid" who had caught it and he showed/sent me the pics he had. Sorry they arent great but are some pics of the shark. I couldnt wrap my arms all the way around the shark in front of the dorsal and it took 4 of us to move the shark. Everyone there estimates around 600lbs as it was 9ft 4 inches without stretching the tail out.
The guy in the first pic is my buddy Dustin and he is 6 ft 5. Also those are tsunami crimpers around a 10-12 inches long. Will measure them when I get home.

Thanks for the post Rich , although it's unfortunate the pics don't do justice to a 9 ft 4 inch specimen.Some of the biggest bull sharks ever caught around the world have been Bay bulls and River Monster bulls like the ones in the Breede River(South Africa)
The bull shark is called the Zambezi shark in S Africa
