Membership is open to anyone so join the club, get involved and let's make some shark fishing history together. For all those out there who can help we requesting copies of pictures, stories and newspaper articles (old and new) from all who have been members of the shark club, have fished with us, or anyone with an interest in shark fishing that have in one way or another participated and contributed through there efforts to make this a great sport. Not only do we have extensive history but we continue to make history and protect and promote the sport of shark fishing. We are in the process of up grading our website ( https://www.southfloridasharkclub.com ) and need old pictures and newspaper articles that we can scan (they will be quickly returned to you) and use in the website. It is with pride that I say “OUR WEBSITE” because it belongs to all of you who with so much passion have fished and participated alongside some of the greatest shark fisherman in the state of Florida. This website will be what we put into it; and we have enough history in this sport to cover several books of stories and pictures. No other shark club has endured and lasted as long as we have. We are the last remaining Shark Club in the state and it is in our hands that lies the future of our shark club. Our new website will have an open forum where members can post there pictures and stories of recent catches and adventures on land and boat. The more people contribute to the forum with there stories and pictures the more we gain respect and recognition by the fishing community. We will have a history section with many old pictures of big sharks caught from Florida shores. We will cover some of the great pioneers of shark fishing such as Frank Mundus, Herb Goodman etc, etc. We will include spear fishing and surfing sections as well as providing up to date tide and Radar of local and state weather and links to surf cams along the East coast of Florida information surfers and sharkers depend on for there adventures on the beach . I urge each and every one of you to help make this a collective effort that we can all be proud of. Together we can make OUR WEBSITE the best shark fishing website in the state of Florida .We need all club members to put together there pictures and help keep together the greatest shark club ever.
