South Beach resident in the 80's and recent Miami resident good friend, part time shark fishermen Willi Sardina passed away recently of a heart attack precipitated by untreated severe obesity and a series of related health problems.Willi Sardina was a person whose bubbly personality helped him make many good friends with a good attitude and quick smile. Willi was actively involved in shark fishing during the early ninety's but was inactive as of late as his weight crept close to the 400 lb mark physical activity became more difficult.Another SFSC sharker gone to shark fishing paradise will be missed but never forgotten.
ps ,,,,,A few months ago I personally took Willi to Strax Rejuvenation an Obesity Clinic in south Miami for a gastric bypass consultation but unfortunetly he did not have the procedure that may of saved his life
