THE YEAR OF THE MASSIVE BULL SHARKS One hell of year we've had specially the first 5 months --from January to May of 2011 we had more big sharks caught then ever before in a five month period and that included 5 bull sharks 9 foot or bigger ,two 11foot 5 inch Hammerhead sharks and numerous other Hammers that spooled Internationals 130 ,Penn 16/0 and and a fried 14/0 at Boca Grande.What a bunch of quality shark fishermen we have on this site and in the club and the huge sharks landed this year are all the proof anyone needs. This is a lonely job in the winter when the sharking has slowed down but it's a job that needs to be done . I need just a little help in tabulating all the biggest of every species of shark and fish for trophy contention so pitch in boys!!.It ai'nt over yet but ALMOST. MOST SHARKS CAUGHT DURING THE YEAR Joe Clausel has been dogged in his pursuit of The Most Sharks Caught trophy and no one is near his 48 sharks which is a SFSC record for most sharks during one 12 month period.We don't see anyone threatening to take his crown at this point. And we did what any energetic sharker would do. We put the massive bait on the big rod with big reel and put it out deep.
