2010 SHARK CLUB ANNUAL PRIZE CATEGORIES

Every year shark club members get to compete for annual trophy and prizes. The winners in each category will have there name on a list that will be displayed on this website updated regularly and at the end of the year usually on December 26,27, or 28 we have a awards party/ceremony where we hand out the prizesto each winner. This party is the event of year and everyone has lots of fun.
RULES OF THE COMPETITION

Competition Dates= from January 1st,2010 - December 25th,2010

In order to promote and encourage catch and release of sharks the winners in each category are determined on each shark's total length.Measured from tip of nose to tip of tail.Sharks are not judged on weight.

Fish other then sharks are judged by weight or by length.Preferably you should weigh and measuere your fish, but If a scale is not available then measure the over all length for your catch to qualify for a prize. Fish that must be released such as Goliath grouper should be measured if possible to keep accurate records and to avoid discrepancies. All fish to be released must be handled with care to assure it's survival upon release.

I was told by the administrators is OK to post your qualifiers in this section.

This is a 20 lb. & 36 inch Mutton Snapper caught in March 2010, as frequently happens the rod holder is the best way to catch trophy fish and that's exactly how I caught this Mutton with the rod unattended and in a rod holder, the clicker went off...

Here is another entry - a Black grouper caught in April 2010. (Gulf side - special boat permit to keep groupers)
This 50 lb. Black was caught 1 minute before anchor was pulled up with the engines running and ready to head back home, it was the pool winning fish. Pure Luck!
