This section will be for posting all pictures and stories relating to the SOUTH BEACH PIER .We can post shark fishing and other stories about surfing, spearfishing, and the good times in general that were had by so many back in the 70's and 80's on the pier. Those were great times and it was a great place to spend endless summers carefree and chasing the big sharks and the pretty girls. This was the place where many of us cut our teeth in the shark fishing scene. This was the place where you went to see Rene de Dios in his finest hour, fighting the big sharks with a fierce passion that no one could match.Anyone that lived through those times in that place can claim to have lived in a special time in Miami Beach's history on that old but magical South Beach pier.I invite everyone who had a memorable expierience to share there story and pictures with us on this thread.Thank You.
