By far the most extraordinary man out on South Beah Pier Rene single handedly infected us with a desire to catch monsters that still burns in the shark club members today.We will slowly but surely recount all the adventures he shared with us and bring to life the passion with which he always fished.

Rene is indeed the KING.
Here is the man who had the determination for sharkfishing which arose from an innate inner passion. Only when we do have a passion in life for something, will there be success; and Rene had that drive for catching the biggest of the biggest sharks. A dedication that he had until the very end of his short life.
Rene I will always have you in my heart; you were the real # 1.
