Lui's bridge record 10 ft 8 inch Tiger Shark

Luis Iglesias is one of the senior members of the south florida shark club since the early 1970's and has caught many big sharks from the bridges in the keys.One of his biggest is this 10 foot 8 inch Tiger caught from the key west side of Long Key bridge in the early 1990's .Few shark club members put in as much time on the bridges as he does and Lui has the distinction of being one of only a handful of shark club members who has caught tiger sharks from the Seven Mile bridge and Long Key bridge. He was fishing the outgoing tide with a big chunk of fresh caught barracuda.He fought the shark for over an hour in between the light poles and at the end of the battle with the help of Julio Terzado they were able to gaff the shark and walk it to the end of the bridge to haul it over the seawall.
