I thought about it, but I decided not to. This is a beach tournament, not a bridge tourney.

Omg that'd be perfect I have a beach house in flagler right above ormand and below st augustine only problem I'm gonna have is getting down to juno on that wed

What I don't get is if the tourby is gonna go all the way to st. Augustine why isn't the meeting place somewhere In the middle instead of all the way down south its literally over 3 hours from me on a work day that I'm gonna have to figure out something cuz I gotta drive 3 hours back right afrer the meeting

The angler meeting location isn't going to change. If you can't make the meeting, you can meet with me the following day, but I am not going to drive around trying to cater for each anglers location. Anglers who want to fish the White Marlin Open in Ocean City have to fly their or boat there to participate.

Then me and my gf prob out of it 3 hr drive there and back and then having to do it again for awards is like a hundred bucks in gas

Did you just compare a $1000 dollar minimum entry tournament to this one? It seems like a logical complaint by someone who is over 3 hrs driving away from the meeting place yet is still in bounds for actually fishing the tournament that wants to participate and help with the tagging of the sharks (main reason for tourny???). LBSF is done by most because they don't have the funds to fish on a boat consistently.

I understand that, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.
