i think me and my gf are gonna fish this tournament together and im trying to figure out where people are fishing seeing as i dont have a kayak and would love to be able to bum someones and share some prize money or whatever if either of us win anything....it would be a great help and i also noticed it said not piers jetty's etc so i was wondering if im at a inlet if i can bridge drop or float out from inlet on the jetty then just walk my rod to the beach and fish from the beach if i cannot find anyone willing to let me use there kayak??

I could castmy 4/0 but it'd be a bitch with the 900 and unless I'm goin for straight bt my bait wont be far enough out plus I don't want my gear getting washed up in the surf

A friend of mine caught a 9ft hammer on a Penn 9500ss. He casted the bait out 20yds early in the morning. Big sharks cruise the troughs.

Whereabout you fishing? I have been known to share my 16ft canoe from time to time. Not the best but it gets the job done. Ive also taken wal-mart inflatable boats (cheap as hell but work) out in a pinch. Im in Largo by the way. If you're in my neck of the woods I'll fish with you.

The furthest south boundary is Hollywood beach. Check the website for the tourney rules and regulations.

I meant Largo, a few miles from Clearwater lol. Wish I lived in Key Largo! LOL! I fish Indian Rocks beach mostly, or Pass-a-Grille.

I am going to update and change the boundaries. The new boundaries will be between St. Augustine & South Beach. Over 300 miles of beach to fish!
