Shorebound Anglers Alliance

Enough is enough!!We must stop talking and start acting. This organization is born out of necsecity at the precise moment that we are threatened as a sector of the shorebound fishing community;born out of the need to unite and have our voices heard in matters that affect us -such as Beach Access,The Right to fish for sharks , defending against discrimatory laws enacted by beachside communities that would rather not have to deal with the reality of sharks on there shores.We will take the fight to those that will trample our rights,,,,,we have the energy and capacity to be heard and respected from this point forward.
This organization welcomes those that feel a deep respect for this sport and are willing to fight hard to protect it's future.We will be an organizaton with some real bite that will get results .

The road and the Battles ahead!!
The Idea to create a Florida based shark fishing website began a few years ago when my nephew George jr pointed out a land-based shark fishing tourney that was being hosted on a fishing website at that time.I could not believe it, a website on the internet that was showcasing the sport that had for so many years been at the center of my life.I was ecstatic and excited at the possibilities that the internet had created for our sport .Seeing other fisherman involved in something we enjoyed so much ourselves and all those sharks caught from beaches not far from our own gave us the impetus to reach out to other shark fisherman via our new breed of shark fishing website, and provide a place for them to share with the world there shark fishing adventures.I told myself"Wow we could do this" and we have more history and tons of expierience to create the greatest land-based shark fishing website in the world. To me it seemed like a no brainer,pour into this new website all the passion for the sport,bring in the incredible history(with pictures & stories as proof) of so many awesome shark hunters in our midst, combined with the vast years of shark fishing know-how on beaches,piers,jetties,bridges and also on boats made my decision to create a top notch shark fishing website an easy one.The great group of guys who have been part of the shark club for so many years served as the foundation for our site.Sharing our adventures and teaching what we have learned made it a very gratifying undertaking.From day one everyone that saw what we were creating had words of encouragement for us, that propelled our project forward.Seeing the many newcomers learning from our shared expieriences then going out and making great catches themselves makes our hard work here feel like bliss.At times our path has been made rocky by contraversy but our intentions are pure , our work to gain respect and recognition for this sport has been and will continue to be sincere.Our unwavering committment and our outspoken views to defend the sport have been evidenced on the pages of various Newspapers and in the town halls of seaside communities intent on squashing our rights to fish the beaches.We will gladly continue to carry the sword & wage war on any organization that tries to limit our freedoms as shark fisherman.We will continue to be at the forefront of our battle and anyone who wants to defend there rights to fish from a Florida shoreline is encouraged to join our ranks.We will not tire,we will not wither away or succomb to powerful forces against us ,,,,,,,,we will fight the good,humble,and just fight because we have reason behind us.
